Chelsea are willing to pay a release clause for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
According to journalist Nizaar Kinsella for the Evening Standard, Londoners have already informed Benfica of their interest in the 21-year-old midfielder during a meeting between Lisbon club president Rui Costa and agent Jorge Mendes.
Benfica will only sell Fernandez if the EUR120m (?105m) release clause in his contract is activated. Chelsea have not yet agreed with Enzo on the terms of a personal contract.
