Gunther Steiner called the talk about Ferrari and Haas a broken record.
The American team has been cooperating with the Scuderia since its appearance in Formula 1. Some rivals believe that buying the maximum number of parts within the regulations and using similar ideas makes Haas a virtual second Ferrari team.
We are used to. If you perform well, then you are copying someone, if you perform poorly, no one cares.
This is a broken record. I don`t mind. I don`t care, - said the head of Haas.
Steiner also spoke about how the team`s performance will be affected by the spending cap:
In 2016, when we joined F1, there was no spending cap and the budget was much smaller than any other team. But now we are competitive from a financial point of view - not even competitive, but equal.
In 2023, Haas got a new title sponsor - MoneyGram.
